Skills:
HTML5, CSS3, SASS, jQuery / Javascript, PHP, MySQL, Creative Problem Solving, UX Theory and Development, Petting Cats

Tools of the Trade:
I couldn’t live without an Ubuntu Build and my lovely little local LAMP stack. Outside of that pretty much just my brain, eyes, and fingers… and coffee… and beer…

Dream Project:
Any application that poses a serious challenge, riddled with seemingly unsolvable puzzles, written in an intuitive language, and backed by a client who wants the project done right the first time.

Future technology prediction:
Hover cars. But seriously, I predict that there will be a major insurgence in Linux users in the coming years. I mean, a lot of Mac users don’t even realize that OSX is build on BSD! I look forward to a time where there are no major software Goliaths; where all software is developed by a community of knowledgeable developers, troubleshooted and maintained by a community of users, and distributed for free for everyone to use. In a perfect world, right? But seriously, where is my hover car?!

Tell us about your van:
Ah! “Steve” is a 1990 Chevy Van G20, painted matte black with a sweet white A-Team style racing stripe. He is also a conversion van – a “Tiara Stealth Sport” model I’ve been told – but that has yet to be confirmed. He was $800 on Craigslist. The ad read “This baby has four new tires and a quarter-tank of gas. Priced right for you!” and it was true. He needed a bit of work, as you can imagine, so after getting ripped off by a few shops in the city for extremely routine maintenance, my girlfriend and I decided to go back to basics and post a personals ad on Craigslist, asking for a knowledgeable mechanic to befriend our baby Steve. We found one out near Collegeville, and he is most excellent. Steve’s now running smoothly and enjoys carting us around… at least I enjoy being carted around by him. Go Steve!
