After completing the second phase of development of the Hidden City Festival website, I-SITE has added several important ‘events’ features that drive visitor traffic to learn about and buy tickets to the rich series of festival events that make up the 2013 Hidden City Festival lineup.

Hidden City Festival uses a ‘pass’ ticketing model.  Through the site, visitors first purchase a day, weekend or all festival pass that gives them, within the designated timeframe of their ticket, access to any site during site open hours.  If a visitor is interested in attending a special, scheduled event, they then purchase additional event tickets through the Festival website.

The latest ticketing features include:

  • Events Page – The events page allows users to see events by week, in a calendar view OR choose a particular day and see a summary of all events taking place on a particular day.  The Events page directs users to purchase their festival passes and the upcoming events they are interested in.
  • Ticket Leap – Users are taken to customized TicketLeap pages where they can purchase their festival passes and tickets to their events of choice.

The 2013 Festival Kick-Off Block Party was a great success and took place on Saturday, May 25th at 12th & Wood Streets in the Goldtex building.

Hidden City hosted a night of live music, food and craft beer. The Dapper Dogs and Little Baby’s Ice Cream were just a few of the stellar vendors in attendance! Festival goers continued their night just around the corner at The Trestle Inn on 11th & Callowhill for a Whiskey and Go Go after party 11PM-2AM.

A perfect ending to a night in the Eraserhood!
